Starlit Blocks Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Starlit Blocks (“Starlit Blocks,” “we,” “our,” or “the app”) handles information when you use the app. Starlit Blocks is a casual puzzle game. You do not need to create an account or provide your name, email address, contacts, photos, or precise location to play.
1. Information Stored on Your Device
The app stores gameplay information locally on your device, including game progress, high scores, coins, collected items, achievements, settings, and unfinished game state. This information is used to provide game features and restore your progress. It is not uploaded to a server operated by us.
You can remove this local information by deleting the app. Where the app provides a reset option, you can also use it to restore the applicable settings.
2. Analytics and Crash Information
We use Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand app usage, measure performance, diagnose crashes, and improve reliability. Depending on device settings and service configuration, these services may process information such as:
- App interactions and gameplay events;
- Device and app information, including device model, operating system, app version, language, and general region;
- Diagnostic information, crash logs, performance data, and identifiers used to diagnose errors;
- IP address and other technical information transmitted as part of an internet connection.
We do not send your locally stored game progress or settings to Firebase as personal content. Information processed by Firebase is governed by Google’s privacy practices.
3. Advertising
Starlit Blocks displays advertising through Google AdMob and an advertising integration service (FXAdSDK). The app may show app-open, interstitial, and rewarded advertisements. Rewarded advertisements are shown only after you choose to watch one in exchange for an in-game benefit.
Advertising providers may process information such as:
- Device and app information;
- Advertising identifiers, when permitted;
- IP address and approximate location derived from it;
- Ad impressions, clicks, views, reward completion, and other advertising interactions;
- Diagnostic, fraud-prevention, and security information.
Advertising providers use this information to deliver ads, measure advertising performance, prevent fraud, limit repeated ads, and comply with legal obligations. Ads may be contextual or personalized depending on your consent, device settings, age-related requirements, and applicable law.
We do not sell your personal information directly. Some privacy laws may define personalized advertising or the disclosure of identifiers to advertising providers as “sharing” or “targeted advertising.” You can limit this processing as described below.
4. App Tracking Transparency and Your Choices
On iOS, the app may request permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework before accessing the advertising identifier or tracking activity across apps and websites owned by other companies.
- If you deny permission, you can continue using the game. Ads may still be shown, but they should not use the advertising identifier for cross-app tracking.
- If you allow permission, advertising providers may use the advertising identifier for personalized advertising and measurement as permitted by their policies and applicable law.
- You can change your choice at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
You may also manage personalized advertising through your Apple device settings and any choices offered by Google or the advertisement itself.
5. Third-Party Services
The app relies on the following third-party services, which process information under their own privacy policies:

We do not control third-party services. Their collection, use, retention, and transfer of information are governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
Local gameplay data remains on your device until you reset the applicable data or delete the app.
Analytics, crash, and advertising information is retained by the relevant service providers according to their retention policies and legal obligations. We may need to direct certain requests to the relevant service provider because we may not be able to identify or access provider-held data ourselves.
7. International Data Transfers
Third-party service providers may process information in countries or regions other than where you live. They are responsible for using appropriate safeguards as required by applicable law.

Starlit Blocks is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13, or the equivalent minimum age required in the user’s jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe that a child has provided personal information in connection with the app, contact us so we can review the issue and take appropriate action.
9. Security
We use reasonable measures designed to protect information handled in connection with the app. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the app, service providers, or legal requirements. We will update the date at the top of this page when changes are made. Material changes may also be communicated through the app or its store listing where appropriate.
